Annemarie and Werner got married on the 15th of October 2011 at Woodlands Game Lodge and Conference Centre.
The day started without a cloud in the sky, which actually for this wedding wasn’t a good thing, as we had to do the Annemarie and Werners couple photos at 14h00, the worst time to take photographs. I started praying and hoping on Friday that we could at least just have overcast during the couple shoot, so that we can get beautiful exposures, and no harsh shadows everywhere. Low and behold just as Annemarie was getting dressed – we had clouds! I was so relieved! The overcast lasted long enough so that we can finish the couple shoot. Now isn’t that amazing?
We did the couple shoot all over the game farm – I wish we could have taken more photos – I just love photos in the bush!
Annemarie and Werner got married in the cute little chapel – covered in ivy leaves at 17h00, and it was absolutely beautiful. I was shocked to find out that Annemarie was planning on getting married bare feet, never in my life have I ever came across a bride wanting to get married bare feet – it just showed me once again, how each person has their own unique idea and dream. And you need to see your dream through regardless of what other people may think or feel! It was really awesome to see Annemarie partying late in the evening still bare feet and so comfortable!
This wedding as all the other weddings were so unique, yes you have all the traditions, but the couple makes it unique. The couple gives their own wedding its own identity – which I just love! Annemarie actually sang a song to Werner which he just loved, it was such a special moment for them!
Annemarie and Werner, thank you so much that we could share your special day with you, you both are really amazing people and your strength and faith encourages me! May your marriage always be filled with laughter and love, even in hardship. May success and happiness follow you as your shadow follows you all the days of your life.
Love,
Andri
