I will never in my entire life forget this day! It is memorable not for the obvious reasons

I assisted Gerrie again from Open Image as a second shooter, and the wedding was held somewhere in Johannesburg. Now me, I am a Pretoria girl – I do not know JHB all that well – so I drove there trusting the GPS – MAN OH MAN! Apparently I ended up in the dodgy side of JHB… I was scared – and now – many moons away – I can finally laugh about it!

It was all worth it, the wedding was something I have never experienced in my entire life. It was a Catholic Wedding. I wish I could have been there in the ceremony the entire time – but I had to go take photos of the reception hall. The church was breathtakingly beautiful – inside and out. So much light and openness. It really, really is beautiful!

So go grab a cup of hot chocolate – or anything that is nice and warm, and enjoy!
